Wesley Vizier and Simone Guidry, seniors at South Lafourche High School, were selected to receive the Catholic Youth Leadership Award from Knights of Columbus Council #9000. Wes is the son of Brent and Pat Vizier and Simone is the daughter of Troy and Kim Guidry. The purpose of C.Y.L.A. is to give public recognition and adult encouragement to those young Catholic adults who exemplify Catholic leadership in the community and who have outstanding achievements in high school. Both will now participate in district competition and then possibly state competition.
